A personal mission
Dr. Vetter’s journey into dentistry began with his own experiences of dental pain, from root canals to witnessing his grandparents’ struggles with dentures. Those moments shaped his mission to help others avoid similar discomfort and regain confidence in their smiles.
Now with about six years of experience, Dr. Vetter prioritizes treatments that make a real difference in people’s lives, whether functional or cosmetic. He is also intravenous therapy certified, which allows him to safely care for patients with high anxiety, making dental visits more accessible for those who may have avoided care in the past.

Building trust
For Dr. Vetter, dentistry goes far beyond treating teeth. It’s about building trust and supporting overall health.
“Sometimes the ‘procedure’ is getting patients to trust the dentist again,” Dr. Vetter said. “After a while, they build that trust, ... and we get them back on track. Those are my favorite moments—seeing patients get back to a healthy life.”
This care begins the moment a patient walks through the door. Maria, the front desk coordinator, has been with the practice for 20 years and sets the tone for a warm, welcoming environment.
“When patients come in, they see Maria at our front desk. She's been here for 20 years. She knows everyone's birthdays, all of their family members and everything that's going on with their lives,” Dr. Vetter said. “It's a very down to earth place where we treat patients like family.”
The link between oral health and overall wellness
Dr. Vetter and his team are passionate about educating patients on the important connection between oral hygiene and whole-body health. Bacteria from poor dental care can enter the bloodstream and lead to serious conditions, such as heart disease, strokes and endocarditis.
“Bacteria doubles every month, so if people are waiting too long in between dental cleanings, they’re doing a disservice to their body's health,” Dr. Vetter said.
To protect both oral and systemic health, patients are encouraged to floss daily, attend regular cleanings and maintain consistent checkups with their dental care provider.

Affordable, technology-driven care
Hill Country Family Dental accepts most insurance plans and is committed to fair pricing. For those who need phased treatment due to financial limitations, the team works to prioritize care by urgency.
“If patients can't get all of their treatment done in a short amount of time due to financial reasons, we try to prioritize what is the most needed,” Dr. Vetter said.
The practice also embraces cutting-edge technology to enhance the patient experience. This includes in-office fabrication of same-day crowns in under two hours—a service that patients appreciate for its convenience and efficiency.
A whole-person philosophy
At Hill Country Family Dental, treatment goes beyond fixing teeth. Dr. Vetter’s philosophy focuses on the full person, recognizing that dental issues are often tied to broader health concerns.
“We look at the teeth last,” Dr. Vetter said. “There's a person attached to them, and a lot of times, there's a lot more going on in their life. It could be sleep apnea or other problems. We want to get to know our patients as people. We want to care for them and make sure that they’re well taken care of.”
By forming real relationships and providing customized care, the team ensures patients feel heard, respected and genuinely cared for.
Whether you're returning after years away or simply looking for a new dental home, Hill Country Family Dental offers a place where care, comfort and connection are always part of the treatment plan.

The practice is currently offering new patient specials for those without insurance:
- Free exam and X-ray with the purchase of a cleaning
- $49 emergency exam and X-ray
