Ready to buy or sell? Sawyer Realty Group delivers results with business expertise

Ready to buy or sell? Sawyer Realty Group delivers results with business expertise

Sponsored by: Sawyer Realty Group

Sawyer Realty Group, located at 817 I-45 S, Conroe, is making its mark in the real estate market by applying unique perspectives and strengths to client service. They share their office space with Farmers Insurance, creating a convenient hub for real estate and insurance needs.

The company is owned and operated by a husband-and-wife team, a partnership that emerged from a significant career shift. After retiring from the oil and gas field, the Sawyers decided to pursue their shared interest in real estate. This transition was fueled by a desire to stay active and engaged in a field they both enjoyed.

“I was an engineer for 30-plus years, and I needed something to do after I retired,” owner James Sawyer said. “I like real estate, and [Lisa] likes real estate, so here we are.”

Their combined backgrounds have provided them with a distinct advantage in navigating the complexities of the field.

“Our time management skills are a big [advantage for us]. We can keep everybody on schedule,” owner Lisa Sawyer said. “We’ve learned how to work with different people and make sure that we are always on time with getting paperwork done. ... That's our edge. We know how to run a business.”

To enhance the buying and selling process, Sawyer Realty Group utilizes a 3D capturing tool, providing clients with a unique and immersive experience through virtual tours and high-resolution images. This technology offers a distinct advantage in the market, streamlining the process and providing a valuable service.

“It's a 3D camera that rotates and captures the space and then links it all together. It makes a virtual tour, and we can take individual pictures out of that,” James Sawyer said. “We can be out at a [property] and have [the photos] online by the next day. [The clients] don't have to wait.”

Customer service at Sawyer Realty Group is characterized by proactive communication and meticulous organization, ensuring the owners understand the client’s wishes while adhering to a strict schedule. To achieve this, they employ specific project management tools.

“We have a schedule we track in Microsoft Project where we put all of the main things that we have to do that have a date or time tied to it,” James Sawyer said. “We publish that to everybody. Then we follow up and stay on top of that every day, so we know what's going on in every file.”

With six years of experience in the real estate market for James and four for Lisa, the business has achieved significant success. They attribute this to their business acumen and efficient practices, as well as a commitment to operating their real estate business with rigor and discipline.

“We take a different approach than most. We want to do [real estate] as a business, not as a job,” James Sawyer said.

Contact Sawyer Realty Group today at 713-498-9016 to work with a team who understands your needs and provides personalized service, from initial contact to closing and beyond.
