Located at 305 N. Heatherwilde Blvd. Ste. 240, Garcia Injury Law, formerly known as Pastrana & Garcia Injury Law, is stepping into a new chapter under the leadership of owner and attorney Cristina García-Chappell. Having been a key figure at the firm for years, she not only understands its core values but also brings a deep passion for her work.

“This has been a transition that my former partner, [Steve Pastrana], and I have been talking about for a long time,” García-Chappell said. “I first started working with him 15 years ago. He was looking for somebody to pass on not only his firm, but also his legacy on to, so he taught me.”

This transition in ownership comes alongside a full rebrand, complete with a new logo and business name. While these changes mark a fresh start visually, the firm’s dedication to its clients remains unchanged.

“We've really done a lot of work in pounding our drum to the beat of empathy and experience,” Business Development Director Chris Chappell said. “That’s not going to go away.”

Comprehensive legal services

Garcia Injury Law specializes in advocating for individuals who have been wrongfully injured. The firm handles a wide range of personal injury cases, and the team guides clients through every step of the legal process. From the initial consultation to settlement negotiations or trial, they ensure that each case is handled with care, diligence and strategic expertise. This dedication is reflected in the firm’s client testimonials.

“Cristina helped my sister and I after we got in a motor vehicle accident that totaled my car, another car and caused minor injuries to five people,” a former client said. “Cristina and her team took amazing care of us and exceeded our expectations. I would recommend her to anyone who is in a similar situation. We can’t say thank you enough.”

A strong passion to serve

Following the previous owner's commitment to serving the Hispanic community, Garcia Injury Law will continue to do the same.

“Steve protected and served the Hispanic community long before Cristina was an attorney. That's something that we’re able to wrap our arms around and take to the next step,” Chappell said. “As a woman and immigrant, Cristina is paving the way for future attorneys and what the next chapter of law is going to look like in Texas.”

As they expand, the firm is looking to increase its focus on community engagement, with educational outreach programs and expanded resources designed to help individuals better understand their legal rights.

“We love the community, and we want to contribute to it,” Chappell said. “We want to really help the organizations [and people] that are near and dear to our hearts, [such as] education [programs], immigrants and people in need. I think as we grow, we'll be able to do more of that. The future is certainly bright.”

With a bold new look and the same commitment to justice, Garcia Injury Law is ready to continue making a lasting impact one case at a time.
