Imagine a place where the buzz of Austin fades into the gentle hum of small-town life, where kids can chase fireflies in sprawling parks, and your weekends are spent poolside, not stuck in traffic. Welcome to Flora, Hutto’s newest gem, where Tri Pointe Homes is planting roots and cultivating a vibrant community.

Tri Pointe Homes is bringing its signature “life changing by design” philosophy to Flora, crafting homes that are as unique as the families in them.

As one of seven builders, Tri Pointe Homes is constructing homes on 40-foot-wide lots featuring its Terrace Collection. There are seven different floor plans to choose from, offering both one-and-two-story options. These homes range from 1,600 to 2,700 square feet, with prices starting in the mid $300,000s.

“In this initial phase of development, we have 58 home sites available,” Marketing Manager Alex Montgomery said. “Once fully developed, there is projected to be around 2,800 homes spanning across approximately 835 acres.”

Small town feel

Flora offers the best of both worlds. Enjoy the peaceful, close-knit vibe of Hutto, while having easy access to the booming employment hubs of Taylor and Austin. It's the perfect escape for those seeking tranquility without sacrificing urban convenience.

“Hutto has earned its reputation as one of Texas’ safest and fastest-growing communities, offering residents the perfect mix of small-town charm and modern convenience with strong schools, low crime rates and a high quality of life,” said Bryan Havel, Division President of Tri Pointe Homes Austin. “Flora builds on that foundation as a community designed to match the high standards that make Hutto such a desirable place to call home.”

The planned community amenities are designed to enhance this small-town feel, fostering a sense of connection and community. The Market Square amenity center, currently under construction, spans nearly 6 acres and will serve as a central gathering space for residents.

Flora amenities will include:
  • An event lawn
  • The Haven: fire pit and patio
  • Bloom House: gathering area, game room, coffee bar, fitness center and co-working spaces
  • Primrose Park: playground and splash pad
  • The Well: resort-style pool with cabanas, lounge chairs and a shallow beach entrance
Home design and personalization

Tri Pointe Homes offers buyers two distinct paths to homeownership: the ability to build from the ground up with extensive customization options or the convenience of selecting a pre-designed showcase home, thoughtfully curated with stylish finishes.

Buyers can personalize their home from the ground up, selecting floor plans, exterior designs, and interior details like cabinet styles, flooring and countertops. Kitchen upgrades include waterfall edge islands, custom backsplashes and built-in appliances for a modern, seamless look.

For a move-in-ready option, Tri Pointe’s showcase homes feature expertly curated designs. Styles range from classic black cabinetry with quartz countertops to rich wood tones, bold contrasts and contemporary fixtures, all crafted with high-quality materials and attention to detail.

Tri Pointe Homes has teamed up with MINE home furnishings to transform the interior design experience. Homebuyers now have the opportunity to purchase furnishings directly from the model homes, each carefully selected and curated by professional designers.

LivingSmart Program

Tri Pointe Homes integrates innovative design elements through its LivingSmart program, which includes features aimed at enhancing health, efficiency and sustainability.

“The LivingSmart program has five different categories: EnergySmart, HealthSmart, HomeSmart, WaterSmart and EarthSmart,” Montgomery said.
  • EnergySmart: Features energy-efficient appliances, lighting and insulation to help reduce energy consumption and lower utility bills.
  • HealthSmart: Includes air filtration systems, non-toxic materials and features promoting a healthier environment.
  • HomeSmart: Incorporates technology such as smart thermostats and lighting controls for convenience and energy savings.
  • WaterSmart: Focuses on water conservation with low-flow fixtures and irrigation systems to minimize waste.
  • EarthSmart: Emphasizes sustainable building practices and materials that reduce the environmental impact of construction.
Through LivingSmart, Tri Pointe Homes ensures that each home is not only beautiful but also eco-friendly and designed with the well-being of residents in mind.

Live at Flora

Tri Pointe Homes is offering an interest rate buy-down promotion through the end of May. This promotion provides a fixed, reduced interest rate, which is lower than the current market rate.
