“We’ve developed a unique practice methodology that we're now going to adopt and carry out in Pflugerville,” owner Dr. Michael Feeser said. “[We’re bringing] new technologies into the practice that have not been used before.”
These new technological advancements are designed to improve both the accuracy of diagnoses and the efficiency of patient visits. Among these innovations is an automated phoropter, which replaces the traditional comparative lens test.

Instead of relying on manual comparisons, it electronically analyzes a patient’s vision and automatically updates their prescription. Additionally, digital imaging and retinal screening technology allow for early detection of serious eye conditions.
“The digital imaging and screening technology basically scans the retina for us ... for any diseases like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and tumors,” Dr. Feeser said. “We're able to see things that might not have been picked up before.”
The practice also utilizes a virtual team to gather patient information before appointments, significantly reducing wait times. Patients can even communicate directly with the practice via text message, making scheduling and follow-ups more convenient.
Beyond routine eye exams, the Pflugerville clinic is introducing specialized programs tailored to common eye health concerns.
“We're going to be introducing myopia control programs for children and dry eye treatments for patients who suffer from dry eyes ... as well as specialty contact lenses for patients with corneal disease like keratoconus,” Dr. Feeser said.
The myopia control program addresses the increasing prevalence of nearsightedness in children due to excessive screen time.
“We now know that if we can catch [myopia] before the age of 12, we have treatments available that could significantly slow down or even halt the progression of myopia or near sidedness,” Dr. Feeser said.

For patients suffering from dry eyes, the practice offers diagnostic tests to determine the underlying cause—whether it’s evaporative dry eye, aqueous deficiency or inflammation. After making a diagnosis, they can then begin treating the condition with prescription eye drops, eyelid treatments and more.
With a patient-centered approach, the practice’s team is dedicated to ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
“Our staff is focused on the patients’ needs,” Dr. Feeser said. “We're going to figure out what their problems are, and we're going to help solve them.”
The optical department also offers a wide selection of designer eyewear, including brands like Oakley, Ray-Ban and Silhouette.
As the Pflugerville location continues to grow, the team remains committed to its long-term goal: providing top-quality eye care to the community.
The practice’s new website provides additional resources for patients looking to schedule appointments or explore available services.
