“[Dr. Lowery] does the cosmetic side of dentistry and smile makeovers. I do the general restorative side such as checkups, crowns and fillings,” Dr. Lowrance said. “We also have a periodontal specialist that comes about once a month to place implants and gum grafts. For the patient’s convenience, we try to keep everything in house, so patients don’t have to go to different locations [to get dental work done].”

“[The 3D digital wellness scanner] gives an opportunity to do a tour of the mouth with the patient,” Dr. Lowrance said. “It can point out any crowding [in the mouth] that makes it harder for patients to keep certain areas clean. It also shows us how their teeth are hitting. If they're hitting too heavily, it shows red areas. ... We can look at those things together. It's a great way to find potential issues before they become problems, and it gives patients a more hands-on approach to their care.”
Additionally, the practice employs an artificial intelligence-assisted X-ray software called Pearl AI, which serves as a second set of eyes for diagnosis.
“Pearl allows us to point out things [because they’re] outlined more clearly. That makes it easier to diagnose or see things that may not yet be as visible with the naked eye,” Dr. Lowrance said.
