Situated in the rapidly growing area of Leander, Perky Beans Coffee and PB Café are two adjoining businesses under the same ownership that have quickly become local favorites for coffee lovers, foodies and cocktail enthusiasts.

Located at 2080 N. Hwy. 183, Stes. 210 and 220, the two businesses offer unique experiences under the same roof, providing a seamless transition between the casual ambiance of a coffee shop and the inviting atmosphere of a cafe, perfect for enjoying everything from morning coffee to breakfast, brunch and lunch.

Perky Beans Coffee

Now celebrating five years in business, Perky Beans Coffee has become a beloved local destination, serving a variety of handcrafted, quality beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, craft cocktails, beer and wine, with a convenient drive-thru for those on the go.

“The quality of our products set us apart. We don’t serve generic coffee; we developed our own five-bean blend, carefully roasted to deliver a smooth, rich flavor with no bitterness,” co-owner Ron Diaz said.

The menu at Perky Beans Coffee goes beyond coffee, offering a variety of non-coffee beverages, such as lemonade refreshers, chai lattes, smoothies and matcha, as well as freshly baked muffins, bagels, sandwiches and acai bowls for a quick snack or light meal. Seasonal favorites like the butterbeer latte, dasher latte and pumpkin spice latte keep things exciting, with new items regularly introduced.

PB Café

Right next door, PB Café, which opened in 2021, elevates the concept of casual dining with a full menu of breakfast and lunch options. The cafe is a place to slow down, savor a meal and perhaps indulge in a mimosa or a bloody mary. The vibe is cozy, with a friendly atmosphere that encourages conversation and connection.

The cafe’s most popular dishes include their eggs benedict sampler, which lets guests sample two variations of the classic brunch favorite, and the utopia burger, a burger topped with roasted hatch chiles, caramelized onions, chipotle aioli, lettuce and tomato. The elevated comfort food menu at PB Café also includes favorites like french toast, omelets and pancakes, plus a wide selection of burgers and sandwiches.

"We want people to come in, sit down and have a meal that they won’t forget," Ron Diaz said. "And then leave saying, ‘That was the best meal I’ve had in a long time.’”

Shared space and vision

Despite being two businesses with separate menus, Perky Beans Coffee and PB Café are deeply intertwined, each enriching the other. The physical connection between the two businesses helps foster a sense of unity.

"It’s like having options without having to leave the building," co-owner Angie Diaz said. "If someone’s waiting for a table at the cafe, they can pop next door to Perky Beans for a drink, whether it’s a coffee or cocktail. Or if someone’s enjoying a casual coffee in the shop, they can swing by the cafe for a meal—and perhaps a glass of wine or a cold beer."

This flexibility extends to the type of customers each spot attracts. From those grabbing a quick coffee on the go, to those hosting business meetings or enjoying a leisurely brunch with friends, Perky Beans Coffee and PB Café cater to a wide range of preferences.

Whether you're in the mood for a freshly brewed coffee, a craft cocktail or a glass of wine, both spots offer a great selection of food and drinks to suit any occasion. The space itself also invites customers to stay a while—whether they’re enjoying a casual bite, getting some work done or simply relaxing with a refreshing beverage.
