Imagine a life free from foot pain. For residents in North Houston and The Woodlands, relief is within reach. Doctor's Inc. offers advanced, compassionate care to help individuals step back into life pain-free.
Doctor’s Inc., a podiatry clinic in The Woodlands, is setting a new standard for foot and ankle care by combining personalized service with the latest technology. Led by Dr. David Jenson, DPM, FAENS, and newly joined Dr. Sunil Jeganathan, DPM, Doctor’s Inc. aims to address a wide range of foot-related conditions, from sports injuries to diabetic foot care.
With a focus on innovative treatments and a comprehensive approach, the clinic offers a variety of services, including custom orthotics, diabetic care, sports injury treatments and surgery.
With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Jenson and his team at Jenson Foot and Ankle Specialist have joined forces with Doctor's Inc. to expand their range of services and provide exceptional care in The Woodlands.
“Doctor’s Inc. allows a physician to do what he does best: treat patients and solve problems medically and surgically,” Dr. Jenson said. “Doctor’s Inc. also makes the practice sparkle and stand out from the rest. They manage the patient experience from the time they walk in the door to the time they check out. Every aspect is carefully crafted to ensure the best patient experience possible.”
Dr. Jeganathan, the newest addition to the team, was drawn to the clinic because of its emphasis on the latest technology.
"Dr. Jenson works with all the latest techniques, and that was a big factor for me in joining the practice," he said. "I wanted to keep up with the newest and latest greatest options for our patients."
The physicians at Doctor’s Inc. are dedicated to treating foot and ankle pain so that patients can get back on their feet and live their lives to the fullest. What sets Doctor’s Inc. apart from other podiatrists offices is that their doctors are 100% patient focused. Their physicians go above and beyond ensuring that patients’ pain and ailments are being fully addressed. Having a large staff of medical assistants allows Dr. Jenson and Dr. Jeganathan to provide personalized consultations.
One of the standout services at Doctor’s Inc. is custom orthotics, which are created from a 3D digital scan of the foot in a neutral position. According to Dr. Jenson, orthotics have a transformative impact on patients' daily lives, particularly for those with flat feet or other biomechanical issues.
“Flat feet is such an issue for a lot of people, and they don’t realize they have a flat foot type until they start developing other problems," Dr. Jenson said. “Something as simple as putting a device in your shoe and raising your arch to put you in a neutral position makes such a big difference.”
Jenson wears orthotics himself, with a pair in his shoes that are five years old.
“We do love orthotics,” he said. “We expect them to have a 10-year lifespan.”
In addition to orthotics, laser therapy, a non-invasive option, is frequently used to treat conditions like plantar fasciitis and tendonitis, which can otherwise sideline athletes and active individuals.
“We offer conservative and surgical treatments depending on what’s best for the patient,” Dr. Jeganathan said. “Our goal is to always get people back on their feet as quickly and safely as possible.”
For those patients who require surgery, recovery times depend on the procedure.
“Work like resetting a bunion can take six to eight weeks to fully heal,” Dr. Jeganathan said. “But many surgeries allow patients to walk immediately in a boot or with crutches, so they’re not completely immobile.”
The clinic also focuses on diabetic foot care, especially important as November approaches, marking Diabetes Awareness Month.
“Patients with diabetes need to be proactive in managing their foot health,” Dr. Jenson said. “It’s critical for patients to check their feet daily, and wear proper shoes, and control their blood sugar levels to prevent developing ulcers and neuropathy.”
Dr. Jenson said the office takes pride in its patient experience.
“When patients come in with a problem, it becomes our problem,” he said. “We’re here to help them get better.”
With plans to expand their offerings in the near future, the clinic continues to be a resource for people in Montgomery and Harris Counties, offering specialized care for every foot and ankle need.
“We’re here for our patients, and we’re always looking for ways to raise the bar in health care,” Dr. Jeganathan said.
