Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe is offering local residents and resort guests a new fall experience with their "It's Five O’Clock Somewhere" concert series. This eight-week event, running every Saturday through the season, invites people of all ages.

"We wanted to create a fun, family-friendly, and free event for our local community,” said Leeann Taylor, Marketing Director at Margaritaville Lake Resort. “It's a way to showcase the beauty of Lake Conroe while enjoying music in our relaxed environment."

Free tickets are available in advance online, and the event itself is held from 5-7 p.m. on the lawn in front of St. Somewhere Spa. Attendees will enjoy live performances from local and Nashville-based talent, with each Saturday featuring a different theme, ranging from tribute bands to country acts.

“We're really focused on bringing diverse musical genres,” Taylor said. “There’s something for everyone, whether you love Jimmy Buffett-style tunes or are more into Texas country music.”

The series launched prior with a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, Bahama Breeze, drawing a lively crowd that even formed a conga line by the end of the show.

“I love this event. We attended Oct. 5. It was perfect weather, there was sunshine if you wanted to sit in the sun, or plenty of shade if that was your preference,” said Royce Brooks, Director of Sales for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. “My wife and I sat on the dock and enjoyed the whole experience. We will be back.”

For those looking for an upgraded experience, VIP tickets are available for $25, which include front-row seating and dedicated drink service.

“The VIP tickets are an option for those who want to be close to the action,” Taylor said. “But general admission is free, and attendees can bring blankets and chairs to sit on the lawn.”

Beyond the concerts, Margaritaville also offers various amenities and experiences. The resort boasts a three-and-a-half-acre water park, a golf course, boat rentals and multiple dining options.

"All of our guest rooms are suites," Taylor said. "We want everyone to feel like a VIP, whether they're staying in our tower suites or lakefront cottages."

To enhance the concert experience, guests who dine before or after the shows at Margaritaville's on-site restaurants, such as LandShark Bar & Grill or License to Chill, receive 20% off food and non-alcoholic beverages. Additionally, there is live entertainment at Boathouse Bar & Lounge from 7-9 p.m. to keep the party going after the main concert ends.

Taylor said the resort’s concerts are an excellent opportunity for first-time visitors to experience Margaritaville.

"We hope to give people who may have never been here a reason to come out and enjoy the property," she said. "It’s a perfect evening for a date night or a family outing."

In addition to the concert series, the resort is preparing for upcoming holiday events, including a Thanksgiving brunch, Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 14, and New Year's Eve festivities.

With its mix of music, entertainment and luxurious accommodations, Margaritaville Lake Resort is making Lake Conroe a top destination for fall and holiday fun.
