Grand Living at The Grove will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care with outstanding hospitality when it opens in early 2025.

The community of 213 apartments will also be in an urban setting. Executive Director Natasha Perez said the new development will offer the same high-quality service the senior living community brand Grand Living is known for, but in a unique location.

“What really makes us special is our urban, walkable area,” Perez said. “We're going to have a lounge on the fifth floor with views to Downtown Austin. I just think that makes it really special. People don't have that perception of senior living, that it can be chic and sophisticated and resort-style.”

Residents will be able to enjoy walk and bike trails, salons like Halina Spa and Mirror Mirror, and restaurants such as Carve, Verdad and Toastique.

Although Grand Living does provide some health care services for its residents, the community is designed to feel more relaxed and comfortable.

“Our clientele don't want to come in and see nurses and walkers and wheelchairs and hear radios and beeping sounds,” Perez said. “They want to have those services, should they need them, but they really want to feel like they're walking into their home and a beautiful resort. Our promise to our residents is that we will provide first-class happiness for them based on The Sterling Touch, our signature hospitality service.”

Another aspect of Grand Living at The Grove that makes it unique is its age-in community approach, meaning residents do not have to move when their needs change.

Residents can also enjoy:
  • Social hour four times a week
  • An outdoor pool and hot tub
  • Pickleball courtsThe Grand Spa and Fitness center
  • The Forum theatre
  • A private chapel and meditation center
  • Community spaces
  • Three dining rooms where from-scratch, chef-prepared meals are made daily
The residents at Grand Living at The Grove will have a chance to give input on activities they’d like to see in the community.

“Every community offers an activities program, but ours is really based around exactly what our residents desire,” Perez said. “They have a very close relationship with our FACETS® director and their team.”

Perez said future residents have already requested a cycling team, a wood shop, a bridge club, a mahjong group and more.

The food at Grand Living at The Grove will add to the community’s resort-style feel.

“All of our food is chef-prepared with fresh, made-from-scratch ingredients,” Perez said. “If you look at our recipes prepared in our kitchen, it's all whole-food ingredients, and that's really what our clientele are asking for. That's what's important to them. The food is really outstanding across our communities.”

Grand Living at The Grove will be located at 4401 Jessie Heights Drive, Austin. Future residents can attend an Oktoberfest-themed lunch-and-learn event to discover all Grand Living has to offer. To learn more about the community, go here.
