Inspired by his favorite hobby, and gaining encouragement from a few close friends, Peek started his own photography business and has been working with families, students and business leaders since 2009.
Located at 5310 Harvest Hill Road, Ste. 165, Dallas, Scott Peek Photography focuses on capturing portraits and event photography in the immediate Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area. Peek and his team focus on the client experience, which goes beyond just being a photographer.

Most families today are hiring a mini-session photographer to take an annual family picture for a holiday card and then share those images on social media. These pictures are rarely printed and seldom hung as wall portraits anywhere in their house.
Instead, when families work with Peek and his team, the focus is to start with a series of discovery calls to engage with each member of the family.
“We want to understand the essence of the unique and individual stories that make up the love and connections that bonds a family together,” Peek said. “Is it a daddy-and-daughter moment? Is it a mother-and-son moment? Is it that the husband and wife focus so much on their children that they forget to share an experience just for themselves? How can we have the families share their unique stories, capture those moments, and create artwork that helps that story come to life visually within the home?”
