At Selah Pools, the motto of the business is “Water is life,” which shows in the company’s innovative and dedicated approach to pool building.

Each project in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is a testament to the company's commitment to originality, environmental harmony and advanced technology, said founder Lori Morris. With a team of in-house experts, Selah Pools delivers original and aesthetically pleasing designs that enhance homeowners’ lifestyles.

Morris said innovation led her to opening the business in 2018. In the early days, Selah's primary challenge was maintaining innovative design while avoiding standardized solutions.

"I founded Selah Pools & Custom Outdoor Environments with a vision to redefine outdoor living,” Morris said. “Our goal was to create spaces that weren't just beautiful but truly innovative and personalized. I saw an opportunity to blend cutting-edge design with environmental harmony, which drove me to start this journey. I wanted to build a company that could turn even the most challenging concepts into reality while always putting the client's vision first. It's about creating spaces as unique as the families who enjoy them."

Selah Pools uses 3D and virtual reality design, lidar imagery, advanced cloud-based tools and artificial intelligence to help build award-winning pools and spas. The team excels in engineering and offers complete design and build services.

Products offered by Selah Pools include:
  • Custom inground swimming pools and spas, including endless, negative edge and indoor pools
  • Outdoor living structures with free-standing shade solutions and patio extensions
  • Custom alfresco outdoor kitchens and dining areas
  • Artistic water features and entryway monuments
  • Outdoor fire features, including fireplace conversation pits
  • Sports and recreation facilities, including pickleball courts and putting greens
  • Luxurious hardscapes and custom masonry
To complete these products, the business offers a simple process for its customers. Clients can expect professional digital design and engineering, expert project and contractor management, and custom designs and builds for turnkey solutions.

With many pool companies to choose from, Selah Pools has found multiple ways to stand out from the rest in the years that the business has been around. With an uptick in pool building since the COVID-19 pandemic, the business has been busier than ever, but has still stood by its core values, Morris said..

Selah stands apart through:
  • Innovative, custom designs: Every project is an original work with a proven track record of delivering even the most challenging concepts.
  • Environmental harmony: Selah Pools expands clients' visions by seamlessly blending their desires with the surrounding landscape.
  • Advanced technology integration: Leveraging cutting-edge tools to engineer and present concepts to their clients' satisfaction.
  • In-house expertise: Professional construction management skills ensure flawless execution of every design the dedicated in-house designers render.
  • Exceptional customer experience: Selah Pools is passionate about delivering outstanding service and continuously improving as it builds its national brand in Custom Outdoor Environments.
"The most rewarding aspect of our work at Selah is seeing the joy on our clients’ faces when they experience their transformed outdoor spaces for the first time,” Morris said. “It's incredibly fulfilling to know that we're not just building pools or patios, but creating environments where families will make lasting memories."
