Austinites looking to beat the heat this summer can find an endless array of activities at HCI Sports & Fitness.

Located at 13875 Bee Cave Parkway, Bee Cave, HCI Sports & Fitness is a 140,000-square-foot, completely indoor gym equipped with two gym floors, a cardio deck, a wraparound track, basketball courts, a turf area and a cafe, among other things.

“It's kind of like a playground for all things sports and fitness,” general manager Katie Kauffman said.

During the summertime, HCI Sports & Fitness offers a variety of programs and camps for kids whose parents want to get them involved in an activity. Most programs and camps are offered in full-day and half-day increments.

Programs include:
  • Volleyball camp
  • All sports camp
  • Athletes in motion
  • Beach volleyball camp
  • Football camp
  • Basketball camp
  • Soccer camp
  • Pickleball camp
  • Wipeout camp

“Our building just comes alive. We probably double the number of people we have in our building during the summertime,” Kauffman said. “The kids love to be here. They don't want to get picked up. They want to be here all day.”

Along with the summer camps, there’s plenty for teens, young adults and adults to enjoy, from personal training sessions to utilizing the cafe as a remote working space. Guests can also enjoy locker rooms, KidCare, studio classes including spin and yoga, pickup play and a complimentary fitness assessment.
