Keep cool, stay warm: Temperature Solutions' maintenance plan ensures year-round comfort

Family-owned business Temperature Solutions is setting out to make its customers' lives easier, one appointment at a time.

The business was founded in 2004 by Todd and Tracy Louvar. Today it's family-owned and operated with the help of their children, Zach, Tyler and Kaylee. Temperature Solutions specializes in air conditioning repairs, but what really sets them apart is the maintenance plan offered to customers.

The maintenance plan is an annual program that helps keep air conditioning systems running and in good shape, no matter what time of the year. Customers who sign up will receive a visit in the spring to check on the cooling components, and a visit in the fall to check on the heating components.

The two visits are automatically scheduled by Temperature Solutions, so customers don’t have to worry about remembering to make the appointments. Customers on the maintenance plan also receive a 10% discount on repairs. Depending on how long they’ve been enrolled in the program, they can also get loyalty discounts on equipment.

“There's exclusive discounts each season for add ons like a ceiling saver switch that protects your ceiling from leaks or carbon monoxide detectors if you have a gas furnace,” Co-Owner Tracy Louvar said. “We have those extra little incentives that are exclusive to the members in the maintenance program.”

Besides these exclusive benefits, Louvar explained how enrolling in the program can save even more money down the road. Most home warranty plans require some kind of maintenance plan or it won’t cover the cost of the repair. Depending on how many systems a customer has changes the price of the maintenance plan.

The yearly visits also give Temperature Solutions an opportunity to catch any other items that might need repair.

“When we come out to do the maintenance, we may find a loose wire or something like that, that we can take care of and it prevents an emergency call out,” Louvar said.

When customers sign up for the maintenance plan, the business tries to send the same technician on each visit, so the customers and repair people can start to build a strong relationship and get to know the home inside and out. Temperature Solutions is also proud to offer high quality Trane products and equipment as a Trane Comfort Specialist.

Interested in Temperature Solutions’ services? The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with after hours services available until 7 p.m. during the week and weekend. Technicians cover areas from Pearland to Galveston. Call the office at 281-535-3889 or visit the website to schedule an initial visit.
