For over 40 years, Sutton Roofing has been providing reliable and expert-level roofing services to the Austin area. Although the company has grown significantly over the years, it has maintained its small business feel by prioritizing connecting with its customers on a personal level.

Founded by Clyde Sutton in 1979, Sutton Roofing provides a comprehensive range of roofing services, including free roof inspections, free estimates, roof repairs, gutter installation, siding and carpentry repairs. Sutton Roofing does projects for both residential and commercial clients and can work with a variety of roofing materials such as tile, metal and shingles.

Connecting with customers

Owner Cody Green said Sutton Roofing’s 40 years of experience makes his company unique and has made it a trusted name in the community.

“I think one of the things that sets us apart right off the bat is longevity and time in the business,” Green said. “We definitely have a small company feel with a large company capability. No job is too big or too small.”

Green said unlike with larger roofing companies, clients at Sutton Roofing can speak directly with him and his project manager. Instead of speaking to a different company representative each time the customer calls, the customer gets to know Green and his team creating a sense of trust.

“When you call our phone number, you're going to be talking to the owner,” Green said. “You're not going to be passed around to a million different employees and there's no internal employee turnover.”

Experienced roofers

In addition to connecting with customers on a personal level, Sutton Roofing has a longstanding team of experienced roofers who ensures the highest quality of work and attention to detail on every job.

“The lead guys have been installing roofs for about 42 years,” Green said. “They're very reliable...and they're masters of their craft. We've got a dedicated crew that we've been working with for a long time and they do an excellent job.”

Storm remediation

Roofs in Texas can become damaged by high winds and hail storms and Sutton Roofing is prepared to help its customers navigate making an insurance claim.

“We are insurance specialists...We've worked directly with insurance companies before as far as being a preferred contractor and now we are more independent of them and work on behalf of the customers once it comes time for them to file that claim,” Green said.

By providing storm remediation, the team at Sutton Roofing helps alleviate the stress associated with insurance negotiations, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process.

Because the team at Sutton Roofing has so much experience, roofs in need of serious repair are not alarming to the team.

“Nothing's gonna freak us out,” Green said. “We can fix it.”
