Villas at Creekside offers residents upscale, easy living in New Braunfels

The newly-constructed Villas at Creekside community combines the appeal of living in a house with the benefits of renting to give residents more space without additional responsibilities like home maintenance, lawn care and property taxes.

The build-to-rent development offers upscale two, three and four bedroom rental homes in New Braunfels. Homes start at $1,895 a month and come with luxury features like quartz countertops, high ceilings and stainless steel appliances.

“We're a rental community of single-family homes, but operate like an apartment community,” said Property Director Cheryl Van Dusen. “We have professional, on-site maintenance and management as well as all the amenities.”

Van Dusen said the over 1,200 to 1,600 square-foot homes all have open floor plans with ample natural light. The homes also feature private driveways, fenced-in backyards, two car garages and Smart Home technology with internet included.

The Smart Home technology allows residents to lock their doors and adjust their thermostats remotely from their phones. Van Dusen said having remote access to the thermostat can help residents save residents money on their utility bills.

Although residents enjoy much more space than in an apartment and don’t have to share walls, they still have access to the kind of amenities offered at an upscale apartment complex.

“I just think that the homes are laid out beautifully and I love the fact that we do have the amenities here as well,” Van Dusen said.

Residents can enjoy amenities such as a resort-style pool, an outdoor bar and grill, a fitness center, a playground and two dog parks. Villas at Creekside also offers opportunities for residents to meet friends and neighbors with a community center and yard games like cornhole.

“We have organized some community events...some that are weekly, some that revolve around holidays,” Van Dusen said. “Once we start moving in more residents, we'll have food truck events and some resident parties that will help create the sense of community that we're trying to build here.”

Another benefit to living at Villas at Creekside is the 24-hour, on-site maintenance and the experienced, on-site management team.

“Collectively, we have a lot of experience here,” Van Dusen said. “Personally, I have over 30 years of experience in the rental community. We have a lot of resources and if we can't help you ourselves on site, then we have our vendors that we can call out.”

Villas at Creekside is conveniently located near I-35 and I-306, giving residents easy access to Canyon Lake, Seguin, San Marcos and Austin.

“This is a really nice, sought-out area because it is so new,” Van Dusen said. “It's so convenient [being near] a lot of shops and restaurants but you still have the quaintness of New Braunfels.”

Interested in making Villas at Creekside your new home? The community is offering new residents six free weeks at the start of their lease.

“I call it ‘living the dream’ because it's easy, breezy,” Van Dusen said. “There isn't any maintenance to do. We'll take care of everything for you. Live here and enjoy the amenities and enjoy your life without having to worry and stress about taking care of a home.”
