The team at No Bad Days Kayak offers excellent support to their customers, whether they’re stepping foot in a kayak for the first time or experts wanting to try something new.

Shop Owner Forrest Greene said no other shop can compete with his team’s level of expertise and customer service.

“We've got the best team around,” Greene said. “I'm really proud of my guys.”

No Bad Days Kayak sells and rents a variety of kayaks from brands like Hobie, Native, NuCanoe, Bonafide, Hammerhead, Bending Branches and more. The shop also offers apparel, paddles, fishing rods, lures and other fishing gear.

The shop is unique in offering above-and beyond customer service. Rather than focusing solely on making a sale, the team at No Bad Days Kayak wants to ensure customers have a positive experience on the water and guides beginners through the process.

“We want to be there the entire journey,” Greene said. “We want you to get out on the water. If you had a great time, send us a picture of you having a great time because that makes us feel good. If you had an okay time, send us your feedback. We're going to figure out how to make it a better time. ...We're going to do what we can to make you happy.”

The lasting relationships staff form with customers is one of the key differences between No Bad Days Kayak and other shops. Greene said staff will even join beginners when it’s their first time out on the water to offer assistance and encouragement.

Individuals looking to purchase a kayak have the opportunity to rent kayaks for $60 a day, and if they choose to purchase the kayak, the rental fee will be discounted from the total price. This helps ensure customers find the right kayak for their needs and are happy with their purchase.

“We just want to make sure that we've done everything in our power to make sure your dollar is going the farthest,” Greene said. “You can try out several kayaks before you buy on the private lake at the Texas Ski Ranch. We want to make sure that you're going to be supported 100% of the way. If you have questions about fish finders, if you have questions about installation, if you have questions about getting into tournaments, we're there, we're going to help you out.”

Greene said he frequently gets feedback from customers who say they never feel pressured to make a purchase when they shop at No Bad Days Kayak. This is a result of the company’s unique business model.

“We don't do commissions,” Greene said. “There's a profit sharing plan in place. Everyone in the company has an important role, so everybody should get a piece of the pie.”

As part of the shop’s goal to get people out on the water, No Bad Days Kayak offers lessons for beginners on the last Saturday of every month.

“They're the most affordable beginner kayak lessons out there at 25 bucks a person,” Greene said. “We have a great instructor that's running those and right now. That also gets you an hour free of ax throwing at Loki’s Axe Haus, as well as 15% off food at Ironsides Grill.”

No Bad Days Kayak is located at 6700 I-35, New Braunfels. The shop also has a Pflugerville location at 1900 E. Howard Lane, Building F ste. 1.
