Houston homebuyers looking to make a home uniquely theirs can find endless options at Jamestown Estate Homes. The local, family-owned and female-led homebuilding company specializes in building custom homes and can make individuals’ dream homes a reality.

Marketing Director Elizabeth Phillips said Jamestown is particularly unique because it was started by a dad and his three daughters in 2010. As one of the three daughters, Phillips and her sisters are a positive influence on the design and development of the homes, ensuring that all Jamestown properties are liveable, functional and beautiful.

Phillips said Jamestown can start home designs for customers from scratch or start from an existing design and make any changes the customer wants.

“People might be thinking the [design] process will take a long time, but it actually does not,” Phillips said. “Because we have an in-house design team, in a few weeks we can go from a concept to a real plan that we call ‘full draw’, which is the blueprints.”

From the first meeting with a customer, Jamestown can finish a home in eight to 10 months. Phillips said Jamestown also specializes in unique rooms and spaces, such as spice kitchens, prayer rooms and homes for multigenerational families that include separate spaces for parents or grandparents.

“We are currently building a home with a golf simulation room, and many of our homes have wine rooms and media rooms,” Phillips said.

Because pets are part of the family, Jamestown can also incorporate “barkitecture”—unique features such as dog wash stations and kennels to make caring for furry friends easier.

Jamestown offers a variety of homesites in Montgomery County and can also build on customers’ lots throughout Greater Houston.

In Conroe, Jamestown just completed a 3,700-square-foot model home in ARTAVIA, a master-planned community featuring art installations throughout the neighborhood. Jamestown has its own section of homesites in ARTAVIA, which are the largest in the community at 80 feet wide.

The model home at 17634 Grandeur Drive features a large kitchen and vaulted ceilings in the family room and game room. The primary bedroom features two closets, the larger of which opens to the laundry room, eliminating the need to carry dirty laundry to a separate space. The model home is now available for touring.

Jamestown is also building a model home in Grand Central Park, located just 10 minutes north of The Woodlands. The neighborhood offers extensive nature trails and 100 acres of woods and lakes. It is also the former site of Camp Strake, the nation’s largest Boy Scout camp for over 70 years.

Phillips said the 5,000-square-foot model home is unique because it offers the opportunity to add an elevator. The home also features a four-car tandem garage, a game room downstairs, a media room upstairs and a three-way dressing mirror in the primary bathroom.

Within Grand Central Park, Jamestown is offering homes in two sections. Deer Lake Estates offers 75 to 80-foot-wide lot sizes and a limited number of lake lots, and South Village has 70-foot-wide lots that are extra deep.

In addition to its homesites in ARTAVIA and Grand Central Park, Jamestown will also begin building custom homes in Chambers Creek, an active adult community in Willis. The 55-plus community features a winery, 9-hole golf course and an amenity center as well as an onsite marina that connects to Lake Conroe. An interest list can be accessed via Jamestown’s website.

Phillips said Jamestown is also careful to include thoughtful features throughout its homes, including energy efficient attic insulation, tankless water heaters, and LoE3 windows, which block 97% of the sun’s UV rays. To protect against issues burst pipes and windstorms Jamestown homes include Uponor PEX water lines and shear walls.
