With six different home builders to choose from and a state-of-the-art amenity center, Crosswinds has something for everyone in Kyle.

The master-planned community offers residents newly-built homes surrounded by walking trails, a variety of amenities and quality schools.

Kyle is located 22 miles south of Austin allowing residents the convenience of being near a big city without the traffic and crowds. Greg Rich, SR Capital/Allegiant Realty Partner, said Kyle’s proximity to Austin made it a great location for the Crosswinds community.

“As we started looking at the community, we saw some really strong generators in Kyle that attracted us there first,” Rich said. “Number one, Hays Consolidated Schools were excellent. The proximity to the airport in downtown [Austin]... it was kind of a perfect storm.”

Although residents can easily drive to Austin, they don’t have to leave town to find what they need. Rich said Kyle has a variety of restaurants and activities for residents to enjoy.

Crosswinds is centered around the Windy Point amenity center, which features a large community pool with beach entry, dog park, pickleball courts, a playground, grills and picnic areas. This creates a natural hub for neighbors to gather and children to play.

Additionally, there is an extensive trail system throughout the community for walking and running. Within the community, there is a designated acreage for a future Hays Consolidated Independent School District (HCISD) elementary school.

Rich said he thinks it’s important for future homeowners and builders to be a good match, so Crosswinds offers six different builders for individuals to choose from. Individuals can choose to work with Brightland Homes, Highland Homes, Milestone Community Builders, Pacesetter Homes, Perry Homes and Pulte Homes.

“In each one of those product offerings, they've got a variety of modern floor plans,” Rich said. “A buyer has different offerings to look at between the six builders.”

Homes at Crosswinds range from 1,500 square-feet to 4,100 square-feet. Each home builder offers a distinct style, ensuring buyers can find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle.

“Every single builder is offering a different product,” Rich said. “We want them to showcase their identity.”

Because of this model, a family could move several times as their needs change but remain in the Crosswinds where they know their neighbors and have a sense of community.

“Crosswinds is a community that allows a buyer to live in a couple different houses [within the community] if they choose to,” Rich said.

In addition to a centralized amenity center, Crosswinds offers resident events designed to create synergy within the community.

“This is a place where we need to pull everybody to one spot,” Rich said.

The combination of a centralized community with distinctive home designs makes Crosswinds stand out among other communities.
