Amberlin Georgetown is a resort-style, active adult community for residents 55-plus. The brand-new community offers seniors a maintenance-free lifestyle and luxury amenities without the stress of owning a home.

Sales Specialist Dianne Rebel said fostering community is at the heart of Amberlin Georgetown’s mission.

Amberlin Georgetown is founded on three pillars which are integral to the community’s mission:
  • Sharpen your mind
  • Strengthen your body
  • Share your gifts

Put People First from Sparrow Living on Vimeo.

To help residents achieve these goals, Amberlin Georgetown hosts a variety of activities and events that help enhance community members’ strengths and talents. Rebel said Amberlin Georgetown offers daily activities and puts together a monthly social calendar of events residents and prospects can attend.

Recently, the community has offered cooking classes, dance instruction, and a throwback to the sixties era event.

“We want to have these activities, so everyone gets to know their neighbors and they make friends,” Rebel said.

Rebel said something that makes Amberlin Georgetown unique is the community allows residents the opportunity to create community member-led activities, which lets residents share their gifts and talents with their neighbors.

In particular, Amberlin Georgetown community members have created a member-led wine night on Mondays and a gardening group where residents skilled at gardening help others learn to grow plants in raised garden beds.

All regularly scheduled activities, classes and on-site events are included with residents’ monthly rent. The amenities at the resort-style community are extensive, and help residents live their best lives.

Some amenities include:
  • resort-style pool with sun deck
  • manicured courtyard
  • pickle ball and bocce courts
  • event lawn
  • courtyard firepit
  • community garden with raised garden beds
  • resident dog park
  • outdoor kitchen, cabanas and grilling stations
  • Library with game and puzzle area
  • state-of-the-art gym
  • wellness studio
  • 9,000-square-foot two-story clubhouse
Rebel said the Amberlin Georgetown location offers community members easy access to surrounding stores, restaurants, and entertainment. Only a seven- to 10-minute drive from downtown Georgetown, residents can enjoy exploring the art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants downtown.

“At the Wolf Ranch shopping center there’s a farmer’s market every Saturday morning, and another one every third Sunday,” Rebel said. “There’s a lot to do.”

With so much to do both at Amberlin Georgetown and in the surrounding area, community members are sure to enjoy each day.

“We really listen to our residents when we get feedback or requests, and we embrace building community,” Rebel said.

Ready to make the move? To qualify for residency at Amberlin Georgetown, guests must be screened through a background and consumer credit check. In addition, all applicants per home must make 1 times the monthly rent in gross income, and be 55 years of age or above.
