“The mission of Sage Valley Senior Living is that all our residents feel loved and cared for every single day,” said Ari Aviles, Director of Sales and Marketing. “We want every day to be fun, safe and valuable for them.”
The community offers studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments for people needing assisted living and memory care. The pet-friendly apartments include kitchenettes, in-unit utilities, weekly housekeeping and daily living assistance from a 24-hour staff.
“I feel like we are a community,” said Dee Downer, Interim Executive Director. “We're a family. We're a little neighborhood here. We offer [senior living] services in a loving, supportive environment.”
Assisted living apartments start at $4,250 and memory-care apartments start at $6500 per month. The apartments come in multiple layouts. Residents can live at Sage Valley with a partner, in a private suite or in a shared suite.
Amenities include:
- salon and spa
- fitness center
- library
- community and social spaces
- movie theater
- private dining room
- activity and game room
- putting green and patio
“The food here is phenomenal,” Downer said. “Chef Charlie is French-trained and has great cooks alongside him.”
Aviles said the staff at Sage Valley Senior Living goes above and beyond to care for residents.
“The staff is so welcoming and so amazing,” Ari said. “They really want you to feel like you're at home.”
Vibrant Life Director Chenise Francis provides a full calendar of monthly events and activities for residents to connect with others. In December, residents can enjoy a Christmas lights tour and a Jingle Mingle with hot chocolate, cookies and snacks.
“Just because people age doesn't mean they can’t have fun,” Downer said.
Family members of residents are frequently invited to participate in community activities.
“We recently had our Thanksgiving lunch where we invited the families so they're being incorporated into the community even though they're not physically living here,” Aviles said.
In addition to taking care of residents’ social needs, Sage Valley Senior Living also ensures the safety of each resident.
“We have an LPN [licensed practical nurse] who oversees the residents' health care needs, along with a few physician groups that will come and make house calls,” Aviles said.
Residents can also receive physical and occupational therapy without having to leave the community.
Aviles said she knows making the decision to move a loved one into a senior living community can be difficult. She encourages people in the community to visit Sage Valley Senior Living and see first-hand what makes it so unique.
“Sage Valley is an absolutely amazing place,” she said. “ I think it's a matter of just getting through the door and seeing the community for yourself.”
