Since 2020, master planned community Trinity Falls has hosted the yearly tour to showcase model homes and get visitors into the Christmas spirit. Attendees will be able to go from home to home and speak to representatives from the homebuilders in each model. At this year’s tour, 10 brand-new, themed Christmas trees will be put on display.
The details:
- 7801 Trinity Falls Pkwy., McKinney
- Free
- Nov. 18-Dec. 17, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (Monday through Saturday); noon-5 p.m. (Sunday)
- Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday
“On top of that, they'll have the opportunity to actually tour the amenity center this year because we will have a tree in The Lodge,” director of marketing C’Ella Clayton said. “They’ll get a chance to explore that and our award winning pool that we just received an award for.”
There will also be a 30-foot-tall tree in the front yard of The Lodge for people to take photos with—another first for the annual tour.
Bringing the magic to life
Having 10 new themes this year gave Christmas tree stylist Antoinette Boston a chance to play and experiment with decorations, even building her own ornaments out of everyday objects when ones weren’t commercially availables.
“I think people will be most surprised about the time that goes into the front half of it,” Boston said. The prepping and the planning takes probably twice as much time, if not more than the actual decorating.”
Some of the themes this year include:
- Hello Barbie Fan Tree
- A Touch of Tiffany Elegance Tree
- First Responders Appreciation Tree
- Comic Crusader: A Fan’s Tale Tree
- Your Home In Nature Tree
- Passion For Poinsettias Tree
- Candy Cane Lane Tree
Looking to the future
As a flourishing community, Trinity Falls has lots to look forward to. Recently, the community saw the opening of Frazier Elementary School in McKinney ISD this fall, and is looking forward to new commercial projects breaking ground in 2024.
“We're just continually growing. We're over 2,300 homes, and will be at 5,000 homes once complete. We're really excited about the growth and other new phases that are coming soon,” Clayton said. “It's just going to be more growth, more home product offerings, everything that people need to give them that multi-generational living along with a small community feel, but we're just excited about the future.”
