Nestled in Celina’s countryside, North Texas residents will find a thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed community: The Parks at Wilson Creek. Designed by Cambridge Companies, the brand-new community is bursting with natural beauty, two amenity centers and a Celina ISD elementary school, planned to open in fall 2025.

Chief Visionary and Marketing Officer Matt Alexander said since opening in March, the community has already sold over 125 homes. Luckily, there are still 40-, 50- and 60-foot lots available for prospective residents to tour and purchase. The 40-foot lot section is unique in that it features a Mews design in which many of the tree-lined streets actually face a green space and it gives residents the sense of living in a park. There are also pocket parks and water features dispersed throughout other parts of the community, Alexander said.

“Within the [40-foot lot] section, you're either looking at greenspace or you're looking at water getting to your home, which makes it a really pleasant environment,” he said.

Model homes now open to tour

Future buyers can rest assured that the neighborhood will be far from cookie-cutter. In fact, there are strict rules to avoid repetition in the community, which gives buyers diverse home options. Whether future homeowners prefer a traditional Tudor or a modern take on hill country or farmhouse homes, The Parks can find owners’ perfect fit.

“It really enhances the character of the street as you're driving through the community,” Alexander said. “Even if buyers don’t prefer a certain style for their own home, they can still find appreciation for the interest it creates in the street scene.”

As far as the houses themselves, there are six different product lines offered by David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes and Tradition Homes that interested buyers can view on the website.

Coming soon

Alexander said the team has already started on design of the next phase, which will include a 74-foot lot size as well as some open-space or creek lots. The team is focused on creating lots for builders and residents that anyone would like to have.

Construction is also underway on the secondary amenity center, which will include three pools, basketball courts, a pickleball court, an event lawn and a sand volleyball court.

“As a planner and engineer and visionary of the project, I love to see the community come to life,” he said. “Buyers have the opportunity to be on the ground floor of something really great and see their investments grow.”

A new Celina ISD elementary school

In addition, Cambridge Companies is partnering with Celina ISD to bring an elementary school to the community. Alexander said the planned 2025 opening is very early in the life of a community, especially because The Parks just opened this year.

“You get to see an elementary school get built, and your kids get to be the first to attend a brand-new elementary school,” he said. “There are so many firsts that I think people can ascribe to and feel great about and build memories that will really last a long time.”

What buyers need to know

While some aspects of the community are still coming together, now is the time to buy.

“You’ll get to grow with the community, just like you get to see your home built and see all the sidewalks and the trails get put in,” he said. “Now's the time to buy, because once all of these elements get in there, prices go up. It's a great opportunity for those who want to get in on the ground floor and grow with the community.”

Cambridge Companies is a Dallas-based developer with over 40,000 total residential lots developed across Dallas-Fort Worth. The Parks at Wilson Creek is the newest addition to their portfolio of outstanding master-planned communities in Celina, which also includes Cambridge Crossing and Mustang Lakes.
