In today’s world, it can be difficult to find a dental and orthodontic office that meets the standards all patients deserve: friendly customer service, high quality care, and affordable prices. Luckily, a new South Austin dental practice goes above and beyond for Austinites. At Celebrate Dental & Braces, doctors and staff consistently provide compassionate and patient-oriented care to make sure everyone leaves happy and satisfied.

Dedicated to helping patients of all ages achieve beautiful and healthy smiles, Celebrate Dental & Braces’ Dr. David Ensley (DMD, MS) and Dr. Nazgol Gharbi (DDS, DPH, MPH, FICD) believe high-quality oral care should be accessible to everyone. Located at 111 W. William Cannon Drive, Ste. 200, the practice offers general and cosmetic dentistry, braces, Invisalign®, pediatric dentistry, dental implants and emergency dental care.

Dr. Ensley’s journey to become one of the best orthodontists in South Austin began when he had braces as a child. Seeing the transformation in his own smile intrigued him to want to help others experience the same result. Motivated by a desire to serve his country, he began his career in dentistry serving as an orthodontist in the U.S. Army for seven years. Once honorably discharged, he moved to Austin with his four adorable children and wonderful wife, who was born and raised in the city. As a father, he understands life as a busy parent, which is why he makes it a priority to provide convenient appointment hours.

His passion for orthodontics is rooted in giving people confidence in their smile and boosting their self-worth. Dr. Ensley does not want anyone to have to hold back a smile because they are embarrassed of their crooked teeth.

“I build smiles for a living, and smiles give people confidence. Your smile is the first thing people see when you meet a new person or go to a job interview,” Dr. Ensley said. “What could be more rewarding than giving patients the smile they deserve?”

Dr. Gharbi, whose passions include cosmetic and pediatric dentistry, is an advocate for affordable, accessible, and high quality dental care for all. She has been practicing general dentistry for almost 19 years. Originally from Iran, her first experience in the U.S. dental industry was at a corporate office—which introduced her to the frustrating and unfulfilling nature of typical dental practices. High volume and fast pace offices would not allow her to build relationships with her patients, provide compassionate care and keep her high clinical standards. She did not like being dragged from one room to another room in the middle of a treatment, because it was not aligned with her style of practicing dentistry and was against her work ethics.

This revelation led her to connect with Dr. Ensley to launch Celebrate Dental & Braces Austin during the thick of the pandemic. With similar values and a shared, patient-centric approach, the pair are now able to devote themselves to the health and satisfaction of each individual who walks into their beautiful and modern dental practice. Both doctors have demonstrated their commitment to excellence by achieving board certification in their specialties–a distinction only attained by a limited number of practitioners.

“Oral health is related to overall health. You can’t just separate the mouth from the body,” Dr. Gharbi said.

Dr. Gharbi focuses on chairside education about oral health, nutrition, quitting smoking and building healthy habits. She discusses treatment options with her patients thoroughly by showing them x-rays, intra-oral scans, and pictures and illustrations of various dental treatments they may need.

“I want to get to know my patients as a person first, listen to them, understand their problems, and spend time with them chairside to make them feel comfortable,” Dr. Gharbi said. “Most of my patients come in with a lot of dental anxiety and negative previous experiences. I hope they feel my love and compassion as I am working on their teeth.”

Cleanliness, friendliness, and inclusion are core values at Celebrate Dental & Braces Austin. Most staff members speak Spanish, and ADA-endorsed communication tools are used to easily converse with patients of all backgrounds and languages as well as those who have hearing impairments. The Celebrate Dental & Braces Austin office is hygienic, orderly and stocked with great coffee. Patients are always welcomed with smiling faces right from the start.

As the practices’ first anniversary approaches, the duo are eager to continue making sure every Austinite has access to cost-effective, superior dental care—including with the addition of special needs dental care in November. They have also continued to expand the options they provide to patients for flexible financing and payment plans so that everyone can get the care they need—which are all reasons Celebrate Dental has a five star rating on Google overflowing with glowing reviews.

“I feel like everybody deserves a smile they’re proud of. The problem is, it’s usually too hard to get the smile that you really want,” Dr. Ensley said. “It’s too inconvenient, too uncomfortable, costs too much—people need a practice with a great blend of quality and affordability. So that’s my goal, to make it easy for people to get the smile they deserve.”

Celebrate Dental & Braces Austin accepts most insurances, including Medicaid. The low-pressure environment at the practice is aimed at ensuring patients feel comfortable and free of anxiety related to dental work.

Celebrate Dental & Braces Austin also has several promotions worth taking advantage of: A $39 exam including x-Rays, oral cancer screening, and a free teeth whitening tray (November and December only) for all new patients, an in-house payment plan costing $120 per month for braces and $1,000 off Invisalign® with affordable monthly payments.
