As the world settles into today’s post-COVID environment and begins to navigate the return to the office, many business owners are reconsidering the “old” way of doing business and turning to new solutions. The idea of long commutes to the office and the uncertainty of being in shared spaces has employers and employees uneasy about settling back into their traditional communal office spaces and opting for more convenient workplace solutions, close to home.

Creekstone Office Condominiums, the latest development project by Caldwell Companies, in the master-planned community of Towne Lake in Cypress, offers companies just that – a savvy and convenient alternative to the old way of conducting business. Instead of signing a long-term lease with long-term rent commitments and expensive build-out costs, business owners are taking advantage of record-low interest rates and seizing the opportunity to own their office space and build equity. Similar to the benefits of homeownership, companies are looking for opportunities to invest in real estate, grow their business, and be in a deed-restricted community that preserves the value of that investment.

“Many people are tired of working from home and need productive office space to meet with clients, but just aren’t willing to commute anymore. We’re seeing a significant increase in companies that want to offer their employees – and customers – a location that’s closer to home, yet still conveniently located and professional in appearance,” says Jennifer Symons, VP of Marketing for Caldwell.

Caldwell Companies, who was recently named “Developer of The Year” by the Greater Houston Builder Association, began construction on Creekstone in November 2019 and offer 45 office spaces for sale. Starting in the $300s, these professional buildings range from 1,250 up to 5,000 square feet and offer multiple floor plan configurations to meet a variety of business needs. All units are wired with fiber connectivity and come move-in ready, complete with high end designer finishes. Buyers choose from a variety of interior selection packages with wood flooring, carpet and granite options to customize their space. Each move-in ready unit offers neutral hardwood flooring, boasts abundant natural light with double pane windows, a spacious kitchen/breakroom area and private restrooms. The units and office park are also professionally managed by CCMC community association.

“These condos are perfect for insurance agencies, lawyers, architects, medical professionals and any small business owner because all they have to do is choose the office layout that meets their needs and move in after closing,” says Mary Caldwell, broker for Creekstone. “All the finish packages have been pre-selected by interior designers, which makes the build process quick and convenient. We can even refer a lender.”

Creekstone Office Condos are built with classic Hill Country architecture and offer ample parking for both employees and visitors. Native Texas landscaping, a decorative gazebo, central lake and fountain greet guest as they enter the community. A dry creek bed runs through the middle of the site offers select condominium owners tranquil nature views just steps away from a back patio. “Units are selling fast,” says Mary Caldwell. “There’s been a ton of interest and we only have 23 units left.”

Conveniently located on Greenhouse Rd near Tuckerton, Creekstone Office Condos provide access to miles of scenic walking trails as well as breathtaking views of the 300 acre lake that winds throughout the community. The property also offers easy access to Highway 290 and the Grand Parkway. In addition to its prime location in the heart of Towne Lake, the 2020 HBJ “Landmark Award” recipient, these offices are only steps away from The Boardwalk – the premier waterfront destination in Cypress. The Boardwalk offers a variety of dining options, grocery shopping, boutiques, fitness options, a bank and other area amenities, which is appealing to both employees and customers.
