The summer is heating up in Bridgeland, the award-winning community developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation. This month brings a hot home sales incentive in the #1 selling master planned community in Texas featuring award-winning amenities, great schools, neighborhood events, and a brand-new village bringing thousands of new homes to the Cypress area. After a year of extreme weather events in Texas, Howard Hughes is giving buyers peace of mind with an excellent perk for those purchasing during the month of June.

Bridgeland, along with fellow Howard Hughes community The Woodlands Hills, is now offering the Battery Backup Home Sale Incentive. Those who purchase new homes will be eligible to receive a complimentary automatic battery powered generator, the Bronco Power Boost. The Bronco Power Boost generator is installed next to the home’s electrical panel and adds an extra layer of preparedness for the unpredictable Texas weather.

The no gas, no cords, and no noise generator will keep the refrigerator, Wi-Fi, LED lighting, TV, laptop, cell phones and security systems operating when needed most. It maintains the appearance of a second electrical panel without taking up any additional space and provides power to all the essentials during a power outage. The retail value of this model of generator is $5,900. Certain restrictions may apply.

“Our Battery Backup Home Sale Incentive not only provides families, first-time buyers, or those looking to downsize or upgrade their new home with the best residential experience in Texas, but it also provides a thank you to those we welcome to our communities with a state-of-the-art and highly sought-after generator,” Heath Melton, Executive Vice President of Master Planned Communities, Residential, for The Howard Hughes Corporation said. “The Bronco Power Boost will come pre-installed in homes for those that take advantage of a great time to buy a new home in Bridgeland or The Woodlands Hills.”

Currently, homes are for sale in Bridgeland in the first two of four planned villages, Lakeland and Parkland with homesites available in the upcoming third village, Prairieland Village, west of the Grand Parkway. Bridgeland is home to some of the best rated schools in Texas by the Texas Education Agency with both Parkland, Lakeland, and the first four sections of Prairieland zoned to Cy-Fair ISD. The future sections will be zoned to highly rated Waller ISD and Katy ISD.

It is also ideally situated near the Grand Parkway, a short distance to Interstate 10 and U.S. 290 with short commutes to the Energy Corridor as well as The Woodlands and less than 30 minutes to George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Prairieland Village Brings New Homes to Cypress

The Battery Backup Home Sale Incentive comes weeks after an announcement that Bridgeland will add its third of four villages, Prairieland, during a time of low home inventory across the city. Upon completion, Prairieland Village will encompass approximately 7,000 homesites equating to an estimated 26,000 residents on the west side of the Grand Parkway with homes estimated to start in the high-$200s. Amenities will include a series of lakes designed for recreational activities, a lakefront pavilion, activity complex and village park, canoe and kayak launches, hiking and biking trails, birdwatching locations, catch-and-release fishing, neighborhood parks and playgrounds, and shade pavilions.

The first four sections of Prairieland Village, named Mourning Cloak, have 40-, 45-, 50-, and 55-foot lots for sale with 60-foot lots and larger available in September. A variety of home sizes and price points will be offered, and architecture will include a mix of traditional and naturally modern designs.

Section 1 of Prairieland Village will include to 40-foot homesites from Highland Homes and David Weekley Homes. Section 2 will be built by Chesmar Homes and Perry Homes on 45-foot homesites. Section 3 features homes from Beazer Homes, Lennar and M/I Homes on 50-foot homesites. Section 4 will offer homes built by MHI and Perry Homes on 55-foot homesites.

“Buyers have the opportunity to design their new homes to their desire and needs while being a part of a community with excellent amenities, schools and inspiration drawn from the beauty and native ecosystem of the surrounding natural setting,” Melton said. “We are thrilled about the many different offerings our builders will be able to provide to our future residents.”

The construction of model homes in Prairieland Village is anticipated to begin in early fall, opening in early 2022 with a grand opening planned for the spring of 2022. Prior to that, interested buyers may meet with builders in the model home park located in Parkland Village to view Prairieland Village home options.
