As part of the Austin transportation department’s Signals Program, a traffic signal was recommended for installation at the  intersection of West Gate Boulevard and Davis Lane. A construction contract is expected to go before City Council for approval in December. If approved, the department expects construction to begin in February 2018 and be complete by April 2018.
