The Austin Transportation Department finished construction in October 2017 on a new traffic signal on Alice Mae Lane at Slaughter Lane as part of larger project to improve the intersection of Slaughter and South First Street. Design is underway on other the second phase of intersection improvements that will begin in early 2018. Timeline: early 2018-TBD (Phase 2)
