South Austin resident Amy Hageman has launched home business Texas Tiny Pools, which builds “tiny pools” with built-on decks that slide on and off as pool covers. According to a July 17 news release from the company, the pools are about 400 square feet and hold about 5,000 gallons of water, or half of a typical home pool. The pools are designed for homeowners with small or untraditional lot dimensions with tree or impervious cover limitations. Prices for tiny pools start at about $55,000.
