On Saturday, thousands of people gathered around the south lawn of the Texas State Capitol for Women's March on ATX, a demonstration of support for women's rights. The "sister march" was one of many taking place across the country, and is expected to be the largest march in Texas. According to event organizers, the mission of the march is to stand in solidarity for the protection of women's rights, safety, health and families, recognizing that vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of the country.
