Mary Jane Hetrick, Stefani Reinold and Shanda DeLeon were sworn onto the board. Each board member took an oath.

Outgoing board member Shannan O’Connor was honored during the meeting by Reinold before the new trustees were sworn in.
“I just want to thank you for your nine years on the board,” Reinold said. “[O'Connor] helped us pass two very complicated bonds, and have been a voice of reason and a voice of some hard truth sometimes that we all really needed to hear.”

Hetrick and Reinold won 22.5% and 20.86% of votes, respectively, and were up for re-election in May. DeLeon received 20.62% of votes, winning her first term on the board.
Hetrick, Reinold and DeLeon ran against candidates Terri Purdy and John Adams, who received 18.92% and 17.09% of the votes, respectively.
DSISD voters could vote for one, two or three candidates. The top three candidates with the most votes won.
