Travis County Chief Fire Marshal Tony Callaway lifted the burn ban for the unincorporated areas of Travis County on Oct. 24.
The ban had been in place since July 18 and was extended multiple times due to the excessive temperatures and dry conditions that hit Central Texas this summer.
Travis County is expected to see wetter conditions this week that will lower fire risk, Callaway said.
