Adoptable and Adorable Animal Visit
The Hutto Public Library invites people to visit to meet pets from the Williamson County Animal Shelter. The event is open to all ages.
‘Wild Kratts Live 2.0’
Zoologist brothers Martin and Chris Kratt will be at Bass Concert Hall to present “Wild Kratts Live 2.0,” a performance based on the PBS show “Wild Kratts.”
5k Fun Run
Run, walk or jog for a beer at this race at Independence Brewing, part of the 2025 Texas Brewery Running Series.
South Paws Fest
Brit Street Records will host this all-ages event featuring 14 bands and a vendor market from Austin Artisan Markets. Part of the proceeds will benefit Austin Pets Alive!.
LBJ Museum Benefit Gala
The LBJ Museum located in downtown San Marcos will host its annual gala with dinner, drinks, speakers and a silent auction.
Buda Empty Bowl Project
The Inspired Minds Art Center will present its annual fundraiser benefiting the Hays County Food Bank. Event attendees can Buy a Bowl, Feed 100 when they purchase a local artist-made bowl and select a soup made by local participating restaurants.
The Distillery Comedy Tour
A nationwide comedy tour will make a stop at the Spirit of Texas Brewstillery for a night of standup comedy. The show features comics from across the country, and attendees will have the chance to sample local drinks. The event is for adults only.
Power of an Educated Girl conference
Girls in third through 12th grade can attend the science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics event presented by Dr. Debra Malone, where attendees will learn about opportunities in the STEAM field. Attendees can expect an egg drop challenge, lunch, door prizes and gift bags.
Parkour Competition
The Jungle Movement Academy is hosting a regional qualifier for the USA Parkour Cup. Participants will be challenged to a speed competition, with races for ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-11, 12-15, and 16 and up.
Family Winter Ball
Families of individuals with disabilities are invited to a winter wonderland Family Winter Ball in Round Rock. The event will be held at the Baca Center and feature dancing, refreshments and other entertainment. Each person attending must purchase a ticket, which are pre-sale only, as space is limited.
Austin Spurs vs. San Diego Clippers
The two NBA minor league teams will face off in two games. Cedar Park residents can catch the game and enjoy a “Star Wars”-themed fan night.
Leander Educational Excellence Foundation annual gala
The event is the organization’s largest fundraiser to support its mission to improve education for Leander ISD students and staff. Henry Middle School theater students will perform a scene from the play “A Wrinkle in Time,” and the event will have an open bar from 6-7 p.m. featuring a “Wrinkle in Time” specialty cocktail.
Bastrop Empty Bowl
The 20th annual event will help raise funds for food support in the community. Attendees will sample soups, stews and chilies, and will take home a ceramic soup bowl, decorated by Bastrop ISD students and community members.
‘Shakespeare In Love’
Directed by Gretchen Westbrook, the play based on the award-winning movie displays William Shakespeare’s creative process and imagination as he writes Romeo and Juliet.
