Texas French Bread owners Murph Wilcott and Carissa Ries announced the bakery’s brick-and-mortar store will reopen in summer 2025 in the West Campus neighborhood.
The backstory
Texas French Bread closed in January 2022 after a fire damaged the white brick building at 2900 Rio Grande St., Austin. The bakery had been open since 1981.
Wilcot and Ries have been taking steps to revive the bakery since its closure.
