Kyle-Buda Kiwanis Club celebrated its five-year anniversary Oct. 17 at Kyle City Hall.
Mayor Pro Tem Michael Tobias recognized the volunteer-based organization with a proclamation.
Kyle-Buda Kiwanis Club was chartered back in 2018 and holds a myriad of events to support the community, such as Pillows of Peace, a program that supports victims of domestic violence through donated pillows to the Hays-Caldwell Women's Center and various homeless centers.
The organization also partners with other local organizations to participates in school supply and toy and book drives.
