Buda residents are inching closer to having a second H-E-B.
Buda City Council unanimously approved a request from H-E-B to rezone 21 acres of land from Interstate Commercial to Planned Development, or PD, on Dec. 3. The proposed H-E-B would be located at the northwest corner of I-35 and Main Street.
H-E-B Public Affairs Manager Johnny Mojica told Community Impact that the grocery company has no plans to tear down the existing H-E-B location in Buda.
