With all precincts reporting, according to Hays County, incumbent Ruben Becerra has narrowly earned a second term as Hays County judge with 50.44% of the vote over challenger and fellow Commissioner Mark Jones, who earned 49.56% of the vote.
"And the results are in. We won. Thank you. Thank you to my family and team. Thank you to the voters. Let's continue to do the work to help the people of Hays County," Becerra wrote on Facebook. "I love you, Hays, and the next four years, I will work for you."
This will be Becerra's second four-year term as county judge.
