The Austin Regional Clinic in Kyle is offering drive-up testing for the coronavirus as of March 31.
Residents who want to get tested must have a lab test order from a ARC physician, which can be obtained through a physician in the clinic or via telemedicine, according to a March 31 release from ARC.
If residents do not have a lab test order, they can schedule a telemedicine appointment at the drive-up tent—consultations may be available the same day without much waiting time—or by calling ARC’s hotline at 866-453-4525.
Those who have a lab test order will be screened by a clinician to assure they are not having difficulty breathing. Patients who do not require immediate medical attention will be tested with a nasal swab.
