Construction on Lookout Road in Live Oak began Jan. 13, covering the portion of the roadway from Loop 1604 to Toepperwein Road. Road construction is expected to end in April, according to a Jan. 10 announcement from city staff.
What’s happening?
During construction, the road will be limited to one lane and only drivers traveling southbound from Loop 1604 towards Toepperwein Road will be able to access the road, according to city staff.
Construction does not start until the Live Oak city limits, meaning the intersection at the frontage road of Loop 1604 and Lookout Road will not experience closures due to traffic changes.
