Closure of I-35 and Loop 1604 mainlanes rescheduled to Aug. 23-26

The full closure of the Loop 1604 and I-35 intersection has been rescheduled for the second time, now scheduled for Aug. 23-26, according to an update from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The details

The full weekend closures include:

• Westbound and eastbound main lanes of Loop 1604 at I-35
• Westbound and eastbound collector ramps of Loop 1604 at I-35
• Connector ramp from southbound I-35 to eastbound Loop 1604
• Connector ramp from northbound I-35 to westbound Loop 1604

During these closures, traffic will be redirected using the frontage roads of I-35 and Loop 1604. Closures will begin on Aug. 23 at 9 p.m. and end on Aug. 26 at 5 a.m.
