The details
The first phase of reconstruction began in June following an interlocal agreement between the city of Cibolo and Guadalupe County.
This project is one of three between the city and county, with Bolton Road and Dean Road being the other two.
According to city staff, the first phase was completed around Aug. 20 and the second phase began on Aug. 22.
Work on the second phase will be from the northern section of Haeckerville Road to Pfannstiel Road.
During road work, traffic will be detoured around the construction area. Residents will still have access to driveways.
The third phase of the project from the southern portion of Haeckerville road to the northern portion of the road is expected to begin in October.
