As part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Central Project, TxDOT has scheduled weekly lane closures along I-35 to prepare for the construction of elevated lanes.
Beginning April 12 at 9 p.m., the section of Evans Road and the turnaround will be fully closed throughout the weekend for drainage improvements. The road is expected to reopen on April 15 at 5 a.m.
During this time, traffic heading for southbound I-35 will detour to the turnaround at the Corporate Drive intersection. Traffic heading for northbound I-35 will detour to the turnaround at Olympia Parkway.
