The details
The first phase of the project started Jan. 29, and is one of three projects approved by the City Council in the amount of $5.18 million.
During this phase of the project, access will continue to be limited to residents only, and traffic will be detoured in and out of the neighborhood via Turning Stone and FM 1103, city staff said.
According to the city website, D&D Contractors Inc. will maintain an all-weather surface during the construction period and make efforts to accommodate residents living along the road.
The project is expected to be completed in late April, city staff said.
