The details
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the closure is part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Central project, which began in May 2022.
The closure will be for the demolition of existing bypass bridges. During the closure, drivers will be redirected to the turnarounds at Loop 1604 and Lookout Road, and Loop 1604 and Nacogdoches Road.
According to the announcement, the closure is expected to end on Feb. 5 at 5 a.m.
