As part of the ongoing construction for the I-35 North East Expansion Central project, a full closure of the westbound to eastbound turnaround at Union Pacific Railroad on the frontage roads of Loop 1604 is scheduled for Aug. 17.

This closure is expected to last through Aug. 23, and will be a continuous 24/7 closure, meaning the entire roadway will be closed through the duration of the project.

During project work, drivers will have to use the turnaround at Nacogdoches Road.
