This road work is part of the Town Creek Drainage Project, which added a bridge and drainage improvements on the road near Town Creek.
Work on Haeckerville will include the installation of sidewalks, curbs, bike lanes and two travel lanes.
The $8.75 million project is funded through 2018 general obligation bonds, drainage impact fees, water impact fees and street impact fees.
During construction time, traffic will be limited to southbound traffic only. The project is expected to be completed in December.
