On Feb. 4, a temporary closure began of the north and south lanes through FM 1518 at the intersection of FM 1518 and I-10.

The Texas Department of Transportation began work on the overpass, which will leave the segment closed until construction is completed.

The westbound FM 1518 entrance ramp will also be closed during this time with the project anticipated to take up to four weeks.
