Homes stayed on the market for less than three months in every Northeast San Antonio Metrocom city except Garden Ridge and Cibolo, where homes were on the market for more than three months in November 2024. That’s according to the latest data provided by the San Antonio Board of Realtors.

The takeaway

Homes sat on the market for 119 days in the 78108 ZIP code and 100 days in 78266.

Homes in the 78148 and 78154 ZIP codes, covering Universal City, Selma and Schertz, were on the market for less than 90 days. Homes on the market in the 78233 ZIP code were on the market for less than two months.


Cibolo continues to sell the largest volume of homes monthly, followed by Schertz and Live Oak.


Median home sales prices showed some small fluctuations, with the Live Oak area remaining the cheapest at a median price of $269,900 and Garden Ridge on the high end at $447,950.


Put in perspective

According to SABOR’s analysis, homes in the San Antonio-New Braunfels area received 93.2% of the original listing price when sold. Months of inventory in the market are steadily increasing, up to 4.87 months. Roughly 70% of homes sold were in the $200,000-$499,999 price range throughout the region.
