Homes in the Northeast San Antonio Metrocom in August 2024 have stayed on the market longer compared to August 2023, according to the latest data provided by the San Antonio Board of Realtors. The number of homes sold in each of the five ZIP codes has decreased by a minimum of 23.50%.

While homes stay on the market longer, the median sales prices have stayed around the same prices as the previous year, with the exception of the 78266 ZIP code, which increased by around 11.82%

The breakdown

All five ZIP codes have had increased days on the market, meaning properties were listed for sale longer before being purchased. The 78233 ZIP code, which includes parts of Live Oak, Selma and Universal City had the largest increase in days on the market at 35.29%.

The number of homes sold during the month of August have decreased in all five ZIP codes. The lowest decrease was by 23.50% in ZIP code 78148, while the highest decrease was 43.96% in 78266.


Median prices for 78148, 78154 and 78233 all had decreases year over year, while 78266 and 78108 increased.
