From Sept. 18 through Nov. 17, the Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program will accept applications for the Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday Meal Basket Assistance Program.

This program assists with providing holiday meals to families who have limited or no income, and are at or below the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Applicants must provide photo identification, Social Security cards for everyone in the household, proof of residence within the service area, and proof of all income and benefits for everyone in the household.

Families must reside in the following ZIP codes to be eligible:

  • 78148
  • 78154
  • 78132
  • 78233 (Live Oak only)
  • 78247
  • 78266 (Garden Ridge only)
The deadline for Thanksgiving applications is Oct. 27, and the deadline for Christmas applications is Nov. 17. Applications are available at the RACAP office, located at 307 Pfeil St., Schertz, starting on Sept. 18.
